Line-Up and Portraits of Mr. Moon

I decided to go with Mr. Moon for my project. It didn't take me long to come up with a palette. I choose a nightly color scheme with a hint of yellow for an accent.

I had a lot of fun painting these pictures! It took a while, but I learned a few things along the way.

  1. These are so well done that you could have submitted these as your finals. I think everyone including Catherine was very pleased to see you take these characters to its final phases. But to push yourself further for the sake of the deadline I would tweek with Mr.Moon on his pose. And like the teacher said maybe add a few smaller moon pot holes on his face to really stand it out as a moon. I see his head is floating but you could always work with angle pose to make it seem it is more detached. Just a thought but overall I really like your design, concepts, and colors.

    1. Thanks for the feedback Shaun! I totally agree about the pose. It's kind of hard to tweak the picture because the layers are a mess, I might have to redraw it all together if it comes down to it.
